MIRO MONDAY: JASON POLAN, EVERY PERSON IN NEW YORK

Posted on December 12, 2012 by Gary Jense | 0 Comments

It's Miro Monday! Today's featured artist is illustrator Jason Polan. Jason is a talented artist whose work wanders across various mediums and subject matters. The project we're featuring today is Jason's venture to make a sketch of Every Person in New York. As he says on his blog of the project:

"I am trying to draw every person in New York. I will be drawing people everyday and posting as frequently as I can. It is possible that I will draw you without you knowing it. I draw in Subway stations and museums and restaurants and on street corners. I try not to be in the way when I am drawing or be too noticeable."

Follow Jason's Every Person In New York project, and find details on how to have him sketch you, on his blog.

Keep showing us photos of your current sketching, writing, or other creative projects and exercises by tagging @remembermiro and #MiroMonday on Instagram for a chance to be featured here! We've seen some awesome work–keep it coming!
