It’s Miro Monday!

Today’s featured project is a collaboration between illustrator Luke Ramsey and Qavavau Manumie, in partnership with Madrona Gallery

Luke Ramsey’s personal portfolio is full of unique illustration, and his commercial portfolio boasts clients like WIRED magazine, Global Symphonic Records, and Color Magazine.  We’re intrigued by his breadth of collaborative work–he’s collaborated with over 100 different artists. Luke is also the founder of Islands Fold, an artist residency in Canada.

Qavavau Manumie also has a wide range of work–he says he likes drawing people, animals, and the land, and he’s often inspired by Inuit legends and mythology. He works at Kinngait Studios as a printmaker (he is accomplished in both lithography and stonecut printing).

We love the way these two artists’ work came together–their styles complement each other perfectly.
